# 2026-09-02 — AI-native music network

SONIC now exposes a shared network contract across Web, Studio and Backend.

## Added

* Canonical loop: `Create → Music → SONIC Studio → SONIC Project → Community → Production → external distribution/audience → Creator Network → SONIC Rewards → Solana → optional SONIC → Create again`.
* Shared `SONIC_AI_NATIVE_NETWORK` contract with `tokenGate: false`.
* `GET /api/v1/network/sonic` normalized topology endpoint.
* Public Tokenomics network visualization and architecture asset.
* Studio **Network** surface and navigation entry.
* Community production branches for Video, Art and Story.
* Deployment-sensitive SONIC node: mint remains `null` and state remains `deployment-gated` until factual verification succeeds.

## Product rule

Creation, Studio, projects and community participation are not token-gated. SONIC is a downstream coordination/settlement layer, not the product entry point.

## External-state rule

YouTube/distribution and audience nodes are treated as external state. Views, reach, engagement and revenue must come from factual providers or remain unavailable.

## Security/governance rule

Token ownership does not grant project permissions, creator reputation, governance authority, treasury authorization or wallet transaction permission.
