# Glossary & field reference

Definitions of terms you'll encounter in the docs and dashboard.

**Atomic amount** — integer monetary/token quantity before applying decimals.

**Decimals** — explicit scale used to interpret an atomic amount.

**Idempotency key** — client-supplied or generated identity used with tenant context to make a mutation replay-safe.

**Reservation** — held credits associated with one logical operation before external dispatch.

**Settlement** — terminal conversion of a reservation into finalized usage/debit.

**Refund / release** — terminal restoration of a reservation after failure/cancellation.

**Callback stage** — provider progress event that may arrive out of order or partially.

**Price snapshot** — immutable commercial fields copied to the historical subscription/transaction context.

**Catalog integrity hash** — digest identifying an immutable catalog state.

**Transaction intent** — the validated chain, asset, amount, recipient, and purpose that a wallet transaction is expected to execute.
