# Commerce & Economic Model

SaaS access, AI Credits, Marketplace/Storefront commerce, checkout, fees, ledger and reconciliation.

SONIC separates subscription access, AI Credits, settlement assets, Marketplace economics and SONIC Tokenomics.

SOL network fees use lamports. Token amounts use their own atomic units and verified decimals. Fee domains are quoted separately.

## AI Credits

AI Credits are an internal consumption ledger, not SONIC or another crypto asset. Metered jobs reserve before provider dispatch, settle on verified success and release on qualifying failure.
