# Roadmap & Release Discipline

Maturity states, production gates, compatibility and release truth for SONIC v1.0.0.

SONIC keeps product/API version `1.0.0` while implementation can evolve through additive iterations and compatible extensions.

## Capability maturity

A capability may be deployed but feature-disabled. A configured address may never be described as mainnet-live without verification.

## Release gates

Production releases require the repository's supported Node/pnpm toolchain, database/API generation, architecture checks, typechecks/tests/build, program build/tests where applicable, security scans and release-consistency verification.

## TBA discipline

Production mint addresses, authority values, Streamflow identifiers, Token-2022 `maximumFee`, burn-base configuration and other deployment-sensitive facts remain TBA until verified. Demo values must be labeled as demo and cannot flow into production registries.
